This is where Michele and I were married. The tower was built by Seth Bullock the first sheriff of Deadwood. He built the tower to honor his friend Theadore Rosevelt back in 1919.
Yes I wore a cowboy hat and boots... Never wore it again.
The view from the tower is amazing. You can see clear into Wyoming and hundreds of miles in every direction.
Our best man and maid of honor Bob and Cathy. We love you guys!
In order to get to the tower, it requires a 1 mile hike.... Like I could hike a mile in cowboy boots......My beautiful wife made it no problem.
My beautiful wife...
What a view
Meet Josh. He is the SINGLE brother of my good friend Steve. Notice the belt cam and supply of beads. This is how he started every night. He would have to return NUMEROUS times to re load on the beads. For the ADULT videos and pics of the year of Josh, please email me. LOL
Steve made ... I mean The Bat made his appearance at the Buffalo Chip. As you can see Becky was very happy.
This is where Wild Bill and Calamity Jane as well as others are buried.
Good times as always at the nightly CHIP concerts
Hanging by the swimming hole. Slip and slide and rope swing fun
Nightly Concerts. The view is from the Jack Daniels upper bar.
To all you NON risk takers who are to afraid to commit to a Sturgis trip. Josh had never even rode a motorcycle up until about 1 year prior to this picture. Come on people this is a bucket list trip for sure... BOOOOK IT....
This is Deadwood 1 week before the rally. During Rally this street is not passable by car.
Crazy Horse monument. The white scale model is what it is supposed to look like when it is done. They have been at this since 1948. In the back ground you can see it. To grasp the size the Mount Rushmore can fit in the eye of crazy horse.
Buffalo in Custer Park. Very cool to see up close
Hill City pre rally
Downtown Sturgis during rally. This was the 75th anniversary. It brought over 1 million people to the Black Hills
This was the Back Hoe that first put in the water line last year. The well is about 1800 feet down below the mountain from where we had to pull it to.
This was one of the many rentals we had to rent to put in the 2100 foot driveway. Yes that is me who did it.
And yet here I am again in another rental....
Most of the pictures you will see are of the property from various spots. This is actually the hill side along the driveway coming to the top.
This will be the view from the great room when the home is built. Each part of the home has a separate view.
This was the top of the driveway. It is now where the RV pads are and the 13000 sq ft dog run.
This is now the dog run area. We built it because Duke ran after his first deer and we looked for him for 45 minutes. Not a fun task in the mountains.
This is now the upper loop of the driveway. This is where the garages for the home will be off of.
This is the center of the upper loop
Hmmmm what to do with all this land.... The dogs seem to know
The Mid East side of the property. We call it the ferns. It now has a walking path through it.
Different view of the ferns
This will be the guest wing view of the home
There are many cliffs on the South side of the property. They all lead down to the lower south side where the stream is. The mid point of the South side is where the mine caves are.
Everyday you will see no less than 3 to 5 deer. This is just one of the Moms and babies we have seen.
Yes those are wild turkeys. They are lucky we are vegan now...Just kidding
Here is the lower south side of the property. We haven't done anything down here yet, but it will make a great spot for a small cabin. Behind you the view would be of the cliffs and this natural spring fed stream.
Just one of the many cliffs on the South side
We try to visit the tower every year or every trip. Again with that 1 mile hike....
Staircase to the tower top
My good buddy Mr Bones.
Picked these for Michele my self one morning.. Awe aren't I sweet..
Michele's best friend Becky. This was at lake Pactola. We rented a pontoon with our good friends Becky and Steve.
More friends at the lake
I think they had to pee but they said they were just floating around....
This was what was left over from the famous biker bar Full Throttle Saloon. It burned down in 2015 just after the rally. There new bar is massive and incorporates the worlds largest biker pool. A full size olympic swimming pool for bikers. I don't think you will catch Michele or I in that pool
This is the worlds smallest biker pool. Just for me... This was our camp site in 2016 before we closed escrow on the land. We always stay at a place called the Buffalo Chip. DONT google any videos on you tube. I wouldn't want you to see anything that may offend you. LOL
I just couldn't get him to kiss me.
More lake friends
Hope you guys come out and visit us. Stay tuned for more pics
Meet Bob, He didn't fair to well and this is what we found left of him. We will just say he passed from natural causes...We figured we would mount him to watch the mountain for us.
Facing due south. This will be the guest wing view when the house is built.
This is after we cleared most of the ground cover. This will be the great room view. This faces South East.
Our first mountain skid steer. I was tired of renting.
Poor Bob, always trying to photo bomb us.. Anyway you can see some of the lower loop driveway here. This faces East and if you turned left at the back you would be on the RV sites.
Before the RV pads. 2016
RV sites and lower driveway loop.
This is the base of the driveway. You can see the new gates we put in that were just dropped off. Facing west at the bottom of the property.
This is about 3/4 of the way up the driveway. The large dirt spot you see we just added to house a 2000 sq ft garage.
Looking down the driveway towards the bottom of the drive.
Standing at the split of the lower RV pad looking up to the top. You see my temporary generator shed.
This is the right turn at the top to enter into the upper loop.
Coming out of the upper loop where you can go back down the driveway or to the RV pads on the right.
Looking back up towards the back half of the upper loop. To the left will be the garages to the house where you see that pile of dirt and dead trees at the top.
Here is the dog run before
And after. About 13000 sq feet. Took us 2.5 days to do it. Not bad for our first fence.
If you look towards the back you can see how far the fence runs.
Deer were a bit confused on the new fence.
My favorite part of the day. Mornings.
Every morning brought something different to see
Look closely. This is the first rainbow I have ever seen start off the ground. I am thinking there is a pot of gold at the base of that tree.. Im gonna need a bigger shovel.....
Here is one of the 3 mines on the property. I have not gone in my self yet. From what the neighbors tell me there is a mountain lion living in one of them. Each cave goes in 100 feet or so and then splits into two directions. Each direction have not been traveled into by anyone we know. Next trip Im going in.
Here is the second mine. The 3rd one has had the entrance filled in by ground cover. Gonna need to clear that before going in.
This is one of the mine overhangs. The entrance is under the ledge
The worst part of a small town in the mountains is the traffic jams. Look closely
Big horn sheep are the traffic jam... These are smaller ones.
A buck hanging out with his buddies the Turkeys. There the local gang problem in these parts
We have also spotted a rare sloth sighting or even a with spotted mini deer below. Very rare
Buck and friends
look close at the next few pics. These are all the deer I spotted just walking the property
This is the start of one of the walking trails. It takes you down into the ferns and comes up past the dog pen. Next trip Ill finish the extension that will be the deer path. It takes you through all the deer nests.
One of the many cliffs on the property.
Looking down
This is the future site of the slate stone patio and fire pit.
Facing west at mid point of the property
Cool rain storm moved in below us. It rained below us at this point.
This is on the south side of the property at a lower point looming down to where the stream is and the lower part of the property.
You can see the deer travel this path daily.
Rare mini mountain lion.. lol.
Michele hanging with Duke throwing his ball.
Sasquatch
Here is a shot facing south west. You can see the castle where the neighbor fires a real civil war cannon from on the 4th of July.
The spotted deer and Sasquatch hanging out
Guest wing view once again.
For the gun guys, Next trip this will be turned into a private 100 yard shooting range.
Temporary shooting range.
Shooting the big guns.
The nights are so quiet and peaceful.
The steps we put In to get to the dog run, lower walking trail and soon to be fire pit and seating area.
It was a little cold but it was a blast.
This was when we first got there. Slow but when we left it was packed.
Even the bartenders were dressed
Ahh Morning in the hills!!
Hmm what was he looking at????
Ahh this is what Duke see's
Let me out....
Love the deer
Went to bed with this
Woke up to this....
This what Bandit thought of the snow
Duke would not stop. He loves the cold and snow. It was as cold as 17F and all he wanted to do was play ball.
Frozen face and all
Thats our little mountain top from across the valley.
Of course Deer everywhere.
The base of our driveway at about 6pm. I think we counted 18 deer
She's so pretty..
Yep, I still wore shorts..
On our way back soon.
Well we were able to purchase this little cabin at the base of our mountain. Thank you to our wonderful son Daniel for partnering up. 2 bed room 1 bath. Ready for visitors. April of 2018 this was taken. Deadwood went on later that month to receive over 2 more feet of snow..
Some landscaping and new upper and lower driveways to tie into the upper driveway. Much
The newly added deck built as a surprise by our very good friend Glen Rambo. We love you and thank you for sure. Cant wait to have you up again.
The Cabin now after windows and Paint
Lots of porch sitting watching the deer walk by.
We have done so much clean up of fallen trees and brush clearing. The property has come a long way from what we started from.
This is where the home will sit when we build. This is the view from the great room deck.
Southern view from the deck in the future
Here is the new barn we put up this summer. Its for storage. Notice the security Gard in the window.
Of course Duke is on Deer patrol
Here was the surprise for my wife on our anniversary. Its a spot I found on the property where the stone has created a natural deck off of our stream. I cleared a path to it through the woods and placed this bench. Such a beautiful and peaceful place.
I started making small water falls and created a very tranquil setting. Ill clean up the dead trees next trip and partially dam it to create a small pond area.
This is looking behind the bench and up to the upper part of our property.
We spent a good 2 weeks clearing fallen trees from over the years. This will all be plush grass next year.
A view of our lower cabin from the field across the street.
Christmas gift for Nicole.
Friends bought us this engraved brick. It is placed on the sidewalk in down town Sturgis on main street
Michele's dad Joe and son Daniel..

The tired Sloth
Can you see me???
Excuse me, could you tell me how to get to the water hole?
These are a combination of pics since 2006.
This is what we ride now. My 2012 Flat Black Street Glide.
You will see all walks of life at the rally.
Please get this crazy fan off me........
Michele on my old chopper. Sorry mom...
Every town for hours around is turned into a bikers town for 7 days. Some towns as small as 15 people for a population will have 5000 bikers in it.
Tons of performers. Anything from fire dancers to bowling little people. There called midgets at the rally but I have to be politically correct.
Every type of food imaginable. Not so good to be vegan here..
Spearfish Canyon is one of the most beautiful rides. Numerous water falls and black hills forest views
This is how we get there. 19 hour drive....
This was the biggest buck I have ever seen. It was in a cemetery in WY. I had to park and take a picture. I was able to walk up to him to about 10 feet before I got nervous. All I thought was "When Animals Attack" ... He was huge.
Hanging with my best friend Steve at the Boars Nest. Just one of the many spots to see.
They call me the dog whisperer Prairie Dog that is..
Devils tower. The movie close encounters was shot here. The pic doesn't do it justice. It is massive.
Original 1968 Log Cabin
This was the model house we designed our new home from. We made a ton of changes and even added a second floor. We also scaled it up a bit. The house sits at about 3200 sq ft with an additional loft and and fully finished walk out basement. As we near completion the new pictures will be at the bottom.
Front entry way
Sunset off the other side of the deck
SOOO WHEN WE COMING BACK ???????
This picture was taken about 2000 yards away. You can see Bear Butte mountain that is about a 35 minute drive from the house
Here is the 1000 feet of fence we put in this last trip. We planted grass on the 1 plus acre of fenced yard. Next spring it should be all green grass.
Here you can see the lower cabin on the property as well. The cabin is 2500 feet up the driveway and a different elevation of almost 500 ft.
Kitchen table view.
Guest Powder room
2 Queen beds in the loft
Main hallway that holds the laundry room, master closet, Office desk and entry to master bed room
Master closet
Our sanctuary with the most amazing sun rises and views for miles
Sunrise off the master deck
It was very important for us to have an amazing master shower. Thanks to my wife’s great taste this is what we ended up with.
Stairs leading down to the bar and guest room
This is Jasper the gold miner. He lives under the stairs in the bar area.
Guest bath
Guest bedroom
Guest walk in closet
This was the 50 ft long stream with 2 small waterfalls and a large 6 foot fall off the retaining wall. We put this in our selves. It’s just outside the bedroom windows.
This was the name plate from my childhood home back in CT. My mom lived in that home for around 50 years.
The party deck.
You can see Bear Butte from the deck where this pic was taken.
Sunset off the back deck
Tons of rainbows when it rains. This double was amazing.
